I am a Usui Reiki Master (URM) and a Karuna Master. I spent the first chapter of my work life in Southern California as a commercial production manager, a challenging and rewarding career that ultimately led me to seek my true calling. 

I was drawn to Reiki to help a loved one cope with a diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer. In doing so, I discovered what I believe is my life purpose — offering Reiki and energy balancing techniques. 

I completed Level I and II certification before advancing my understanding of this healing modality alongside Reiki Master Arleta Soares, who helped me to deepen my practice through her advanced Reiki training course. Under the guidance of Master Soares, I achieved Master-level URM designation. From there, I went on to complete my Karuna training, achieving Karuna Master designation. 

I’ve studied with shamanic practitioner Nikki Hainstock, completing a medicine wheel training and achieving the designation of mesa carrier. I’ve also studied breathwork Level 1-5 with author, teacher and healer David Elliott, which has enabled me to facilitate breathwork group sessions. 

I augmented my practice with Ayurvedic energy healing training known as Marma, a system of traditional Indian medicine that focuses on specific vital energy points on the body. I also studied Yoga Nidra teacher training under Dr. Marc Halpern and Dr. Andrea Deerheart. Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation technique rooted in ancient Indian yoga tradition and is a form of meditation that aims to induce a state of deep relaxation and inner peace. 

I'm a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals. I earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in art history from UCLA. 

My Reiki treatments offer deep relaxation, stress reduction and a heightened sense of wellbeing. Clients have told me that they feel invigorated and sleep better after sessions, and they enjoy greater mental clarity, ease of movement and an improved sense of inner peace. 

I live in Los Angeles with my husband and our mischievous but well-meaning dogs, Sophie and Beau.
